OUR PLEDGE
The aim of any educational institution is to provide education which develops
the personality of the child in the right direction. In order to achieve
this objective the responsibility lies first with the parents, then with
the teachers and the child itself. It is only through working together that
we can create a partnership that benefits the pupils. We are a community
of learners comprising of students, teachers & parents. We learn from
every physical, intellectual, emotional, creative and social gesture of the
child and learn to handle each situation appropriately.
A continuous co-ordination, co-operation and trust between these participants
can go a long way in producing healthy and balanced citizens. In order to
streamline the working of this objective it is desirable that all concerned
should pledge themselves to do certain things for the children as a matter
of routine:
A few suggestions are given here, but remember there can be no end to other
ways in helping the children in their proper growth.
PARENT'S
PLEDGE
Parents are the first and best teachers of a child. In order to encourage
the child's learning and success, the parents should pledge the following
in relation to school work.
We as parents pledge to:
Look after the physical requirements of our child by
› ensuring that she/he gets a balanced and healthy
diet in time.
› enough play and outdoor activities.
› enough rest.
Look after his/her intellectual requirements by
› providing a quiets space to study.
› encouraging and assisting him/her to do his/her
assignments.
› spending some time with his/her to read.
Look after his/her emotional and social requirements by
› creating a peaceful atmosphere at home.
› allowing him/her to mix with other children in
the neighbourhood.
Co-operate with the school by
› making sure that the child is punctual and regular
in attendance, and is neatly dressed.
› Checking his/her school bag and diary regularly.
› respecting and following school policies and instructions.
› attending parent-teacher meetings.
› participating in school functions and activities.

cordial relations with all students of the school.
Respect my
parents and teachers.
Spend a few
minutes everyday in reading good literature.
Wear neat
and clean school uniform.
