INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PARENTS
All circulars sent by the school should be read carefully. The students
may be refused admission to the class if the communications in the diaries
are not signed by the parents.
Parents should see that their children attend school regularly and punctually.
Check that haircut and uniform of your ward in the morning.
Check that your ward carries books/exercise books according to the Time
Table for that day.
Encourage your ward to take balanced interest in studies, co-curricular
activities and sports.
If your ward has been absent from school she/he must bring an application
from you and make up all the work missed by her/him during the period of
absence.
Parents should whenever possible to arrange family holidays during the school
holidays so that pupils do not miss any school work. If absence is unavoidable,
written permission should be obtained from the Principal.
Parents/guardians are expected to cooperate with the school by making sure
that their wards prepare their lessons, do their home work and take an active
and genuine interest in the activities of the school.
Parents will ensure that the work done by the student is submitted on time.
Parents of students of classes I to V can see test copies as scheduled in
the yearly calendar. Students should not accompany the parents on such visits.
Test answer copies will be shown in the class to the students of classes
VI and above. Photo copy of the test answer copies can be provided on request,
at a cost.
At least one parent must attend the Parent-Teacher meeting on the scheduled
day within the given time. Children will not accompany parents.
Visitors/Parents are not permitted to meet their wards or teachers during
school hours.
Parents/guardians are requested not to leave their wards outside the school
gate in case they are late. They must hand over the children in the school
office.
In case the parents are unable to collect the child themselves from school,
they should send a letter of authority with the authorised escort who comes
to take the child home.
If a child becomes unwell during school hours, the school office shall contact
the parents so that arrangements can be made to collect the child. Parents
are requested not to send any child to school who is ill as it can aggravate
the condition and the disease may also be contagious. Minor accidents are
dealt with at the school by the needed, otherwise, parents will be contacted
and informed.
Parents will please sure that no sharp articles like blades, knives etc.
are brought to the school by the children.
Parents are requested to return the articles brought home by children, which
do not belong to them.
Birthdays are always a welcome event for all children. However, we do not
encourage children to eat lemon drops/toffees/chocolates. If at all, we
would appreciate your sending fruits or any other fresh eats that are not
harmful. Children may come in home clothes on their birthdays. Do not send
any gift for peers teachers/management/supporting staff. Any such action
will not be appreciated.
Parents are requested to inform the Principal of any change of address/telephone
number, so that they may be contacted quickly in case of necessity/emergency.
No telephone calls will be entertained after school hours and during holidays.
Teacher and/or Principal will not entertain any parents/guardians/telephone
calls at their residence for schoolwork.
In a nut shell, please do the following:-
Check diaries
daily.
Sign the assignment done by the child before s/he submits it to the teachers.
Take advantage of the facility provided for meeting the teachers regularly.
Give constructive suggestions if any in order to regulate the work of the
student.
All this is being in the interest of the children and full co-operation
from the parents is expected.
